Legalink's original members were lawyers who shared the common experience of attending the Southwestern Legal Foundation's Academy of American Law in Dallas, Texas.

Building on that nucleus, Legalink's original members invited friends in other law firms around the globe to join and in 1991 Legalink was born. Today Legalink has close to 3000 lawyers in 57 law firms from over 43 countries in more than 52 commercial cities.

Legalink is a dynamic organization that is growing at a steadily pace searching to add critical mass to the organization but never at the expense of the quality of its membership.
